"School bullying: The implications for mental health"
This seminar will introduce the different types of school bullying, briefly describing such aspects as prevalence rates, gender & age differences, bullying roles, & some specific bullying behaviours. The consequences of bullying on health and wellbeing will be discussed, considering the effects on both victims and perpetrators. Some of the latest research into bullying in school will also be presented.
